We know cat owners are very particular when it comes to the care and well-being of their cats, which is something we pride ourselves on at Pet Resorts Australia.

We want you to enjoy your holidays too, knowing full well that your cat is settled, safe and happy with people who will love them as much as you do. Our cat accommodation includes scratching posts, their very own igloo so they feel save and warm, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Your cat will be served premium food daily, plus all packages include health recordings and daily monitoring. And don’t worry, our dedicated Pet Nannies will provide your fur-baby with plenty of love during their stay.

Activities

If you’re wanting that extra time and care for your cat, why not book in a 30-minute personal play session, where your cat can stalk a pretend mouse on a string like a Lion hunting in the Savannah. Or perhaps your cat would prefer a ‘one on one’ cuddle and a gentle brush.

We feed and recommend Royal Canin. We also appreciate some cats are used to being served other foods in addition to kibble so we have an extensive room service menu from which you can choose for your pampered kitty.

We understand how hard it is to leave your precious fur-baby, which is why we offer Pet Postcards for our pet parents. Hear about what your pet has been up to, who their favourite Pet Nannies are and how they have been eating. We will also include some photos of them so you can rest easy knowing your pets are healthy and happy.

Our 3 Spaniels - Lolli, Sammy and Luna - loved staying a Terrigal Pet Resorts. The Terrigal Team made sure they new everything about our furry kids to ensure they are safe & happy and sent us regular updates of their activities whilst we were away. Our Dusty boy has just stayed for another 7 nights at the Terrigal Pet Resort. He enjoyed his time there and swimming in the pool. He has stayed there many times over the last 3 years and we have always found the staff caring and relaxed when dropping him off. We have also enlisted the training sessions with their trainers and this has helped with him being more relaxed around other dogs. When we pick him up he has always been clean and washed, very happy to see us and is also relaxed when he gets home. So we know he has been well cared for. Thankyou Terrigal Pet Resort!!

Azzy and Tammy are frequent visitors to the Pet Resorts and just love it. As soon as they arrive they can't wait to get out of the car and go have fun. The staff know both Azzy and Tammy and their habits and really look after them so well. The photo's we get sent of their stay just shows how much fun doggies are having. Our dogs get excited to see us when we pick them up but you can tell they miss their doggie nannies etc as they just cuddle them when we leave. Totally recommend Pet Resorts Terrigal.

Pet Resorts Terrigal was so good for our dog. She is an active breed and was catered for perfectly. Accomodation/Feeding/Activities and Staff excellent. She came home after 3 weeks like she'd never left home. Would definitely recommend!

Important Information

Before Check-in

A 40% booking confirmation fee of your pet’s total stay is required upon making a booking. Your pet’s stay cannot be confirmed until the booking confirmation fee is paid. Please note: ALL bookings require the booking confirmation fee to be paid at the time of making the booking.

Before arriving at Pet Resorts Australia all pets must be vaccinated. Just like people need to be vaccinated before traveling to some countries all pets that stay with us need to be vaccinated too. Cats require a minimum F3 annually – Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu (F3 or F4). This helps ensure your pet’s safety and wellbeing. You will need to show the vaccination certificate from your vet on the day you leave your pet with us or prior to if you prefer. Please do not leave vaccinations to the last minute, as they mostly take up to 14 days to take effect.

In addition, all pets must have flea and tick treatment prior to their stay. Fleas and ticks are not only a nuisance, but they can also be very uncomfortable for all animals and potentially make them very sick. Tick collars are fine for cats to wear as they are in private accommodation and will not accidentally remove them.

When you Check-in

When you arrive, make sure you keep your cat well secured in an escape-proof crate. This is essential for the wellbeing of all our guests, big & small.

All fees are payable on arrival at the resort so please be ready to make payment when you arrive.

In addition to your pet’s Current Vaccination Certificate and ensuring your pets are tick and flea treated, we will also require contact Phone Numbers and Emails, in case of emergency or any questions we might have. We also will require details of special medication, along with enough medication to last the duration of your pet’s stay ($5.00 fee per administration).

Our friendly Pet Nannies will look after your pet as if they are their own and help them quickly get used to their holiday destination!

Please let our staff know of any special or unusual characteristics your cat may have so we can make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Note: we reserve the right to refuse entry to un-desexed pets. Females in season cannot be accommodated and will need to be discussed with the Resort Manager. For more information please call reception.
